Top LoAdiiMq ARMS Fixed REACII The 1 050 series top loading arms are used to fill road tankers when the loading point is always at the sanie distance from the arm. Silea 1050 arms are balanced with an adjustable torsion spring which allows an arri1 ind nation with nisp-ec'. to Uít; horizontal axis of 55"- ■ Double basE swivel joint, series 0864, made of spheroidal cast iron, type F5D. It consists of both a vertical and horizontal plane of rotation. It is complete of two swivel joints with a double row of ball bearings and Viton™ seals. Each ball bearing is equipped with a grease nipple and relative purging valve. The connecting flange to the piping is according to ANSI 150# regulations. • Balance Torsion Spring Unit, series 3000, made of spheroidal cast iron. It is used to beleren T±a projecting part of the loading arm. The upper and lower operating angles are adjustable. A spring damper device is placed between the adjustment heel of the upper limit switch and the lock. When the arm is above the horizontal axis, the balancing unit pulls the arm upwards, when the arm is below the horizontal axis, the balancing unit pushes the arm downwards, counteracting the hydrostatic reaction produced by the fluid flow. The balancing unit is protected by a plastic case and is fixed directly onto the double swing joint. ■ Loading Valve, series 0560, made of aluminium alloy, "stay open" type. It Is used to divide the loading line. Design includes double stage open rig ind adjjoLoblc valve doeu-c: s acce to admit tool' to the pressure and viscosity of the product being loaded.
