API RP 1004 female dry break coupler for bottom loading - code 513 comply with the latest stringent European directives as the P.E.D. (97/23/EC) and ATEX (94/9/EC) Silea couplers can be used in the petrochemical industry when dry coupling is required. Manufactured according to the API RP 1004 standard regulations, are supplied with a 4” TTMA flange and are made of aluminium alloy. The surfaces subject to wear are hard coated. The standard fluoroelastomer (Viton®) seals are easily removable to allow maintenance operations. It prevents spillage and ensures safety conditions for the operators. The coupler SILEA 513 is full interlocked. It cannot be opened unless it is properly connected, and cannot be disconnected when open. It contains two safety trigger lug and four locking lugs for secure connection. As consequence of the fact that it conforms to the API RP 1004 specifications, the SILEA 513 can be used with any adaptors.
