Product Benefits
  • Non-corrosive and sandable
  • Excellent weathering resistance
  • Resistant to seawater and freshwater
  • Solvent-free with very low VOC

Application Areas
Exclusively used for caulking joints in traditional timber decks for boat and yacht construction. Suitable for experienced professional users only.

Cure Mechanism
Cures by reaction with atmospheric humidity. The curing speed is slower at lower temperatures due to reduced air moisture content.

Chemical Resistance
Long-term resistance to fresh water, seawater, and proprietary aqueous cleaning agents. Temporarily resistant to fuels, mineral oils, and fats. Not resistant to organic acids, concentrated mineral acids, caustic solutions, or solvents.

Method of Application
  • Surface Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from grease, oil, and dust.
  • Application: Apply with a suitable hand-operated or compressed-air gun, avoiding air entrapment.
  • Removal: Uncured material can be removed with Sika® Remover-208 or a suitable solvent. Cured material must be removed mechanically.
  • Sanding: Ready for sanding depending on climate conditions.
  • Overpainting: Not recommended due to potential adverse effects on the cured sealant.

Packaging Information
  • Cartridge: 300 ml
  • Unipack: 400 ml, 600 ml, 1000 ml
  • Pail: 23 l
  • Drum: 195 l
