PRODUCT DATA SHEET Sika® Lightcrete-400 FoamING AGENT for low-emission lightweight porous concrete DESCRIPTION CHARACTERISTICS / ADVANTAGES Sika® Lightcrete-400 is a universally utilisable foaming agent for the production of lightweight porous concrete for use in recreational rooms. With Sika® Foam devices SG 70 or SG S9 P, Sika® Lightcrete-400, water and air generate a stable foam. This foam is then mixed into the output concrete in the concrete mixer. The resulting air pore content in the mortar cause: ▪ Low emission lightweight porous concrete ▪ An easily workable, flowable consistency ▪ Pumping capability due to stable air pores ▪ A targeted bulk density setting and strength setting An improved thermal insulation USES Sika® Lightcrete-400 is particularly suitable for lightweight porous concrete: ▪ Preferably with raw density of 0.5 - 1.5 kg/dm³ ▪ As thermal insulation ▪ As a compensation / insulation layer in structural construction and civil engineering ▪ As a light, flowable filling mix e.g. for excavations, old sewers, formwork blocks, etc. ▪ For utilisation in recreational rooms APPROVALS / CERTIFICATES Emission testing according to AgBB Emission testing according to M1 PRODUCT INFORMATION Composition Organic surfactant Drum: 200 kg Replacement container: 1000 kg Appearance / Colour Fluid / colourless - light yellow Shelf life Minimum of 1 year shelf life in sealed containers. The consumption of the foaming agent is approximately 150-230 g/100 litres of foam per device model. The required quantity of foam depends on the desired lightweight porous concrete bulk density. A uniform output consistency as well as sufficient mixing time must be taken into account when producing lightweight porous concrete. When pumping lightweight porous concrete with low bulk density, it is...
