Product Overview
Biresin® RG51 HS is a low-pressure RIM-system designed for manufacturing shock-resistant mouldings. It simulates PE/PP with high impact resistance, offers fast curing, good flowability, short demoulding time, and an abrasion-resistant surface.

The product is available in various packaging sizes: 20 kg net for resin (translucent and black) and 200 kg, 60 kg, 20 kg, 10 kg net for the hardener.

Processing Instructions
  • Stir resin thoroughly and preheat to at least 30°C.
  • Use a two-component dosage mixing machine with a static-dynamic mixing unit.
  • Ensure moulds are thoroughly released; use recommended release agents.
  • For improved thermal stability, post-cure at 80°C for 4 hours.

Storage and Handling
  • Shelf life: 12 months under room conditions in unopened containers.
  • Crystallisation may occur at low temperatures; remove by warming to a maximum of 70°C.
  • Close containers tightly after use to prevent moisture ingress.

■ The resin component must be stirred thoroughly before use. ■ The resin component must be preheated up to at least 30°C. The mould temperature should be at least 30°C. This is necessary to avoid a brittleness phase at short demoulding times. ■ For processing a two-component dosage mixing machine is necessary which conforms to reactivity of resin and volume of casting parts.
