Biresin® G26

Biresin® G26

Product catalog summary
Areas of Application
Biresin® G26 is used for manufacturing temperature-resistant housings, coverings, and thin-walled parts with complex structures.

Product Benefits
The resin simulates PE/PP and can be combined with different hardeners for enhanced strength, faster curing, or higher temperature resistance. It is dyeable and can cure at room temperature.

Description
Biresin® G26 is a two-component PUR system consisting of a polyol resin and MDI-based isocyanate hardeners (G53 and U5).

Processing Data
The resin and hardeners have specific viscosities and densities, with mixing ratios provided for optimal results. Pot life and demoulding times are specified for room temperature conditions.

Physical Data
The resin's physical properties include density, Shore hardness, E-Modulus, flexural strength, tensile strength, compressive strength, impact resistance, and heat distortion temperature.

Packaging
The components are available in various packaging sizes, ensuring flexibility for different production needs.

Processing Instructions
The material should be processed at 18-25°C, with components shaken and vacuumed before mixing. Moulds should be preheated, and curing occurs in an oven at 70°C.

Storage
The product has a shelf life of 12 months when stored properly. Crystallization can occur at low temperatures but is reversible by warming.

Health and Safety Information
Users should refer to the Safety Data Sheet for safe handling, storage, and disposal instructions.

Disposal Considerations
Products must be disposed of in accordance with regulations, and packaging can be recycled if completely emptied.

Legal Notice
The information provided is based on current knowledge and experience, with no warranty implied. Users must test the product's suitability for their specific application.

The material temperature must be 18 - 25°C. The resin component (A) must be shaked well before use. Both components must be under vacuum for several minutes before mixing in right mixing ratio and poured into preheated moulds (70°C). After complete filling of the moulds, vacuum is switched off and moulds are placed in an oven at 70°C for curing until demoulding. Minimum shelf life is 12 month under room condition (18 - 25°C), when stored in original un-opened containers. After prolonged storage at low temperature, crystallisation of components may occur. This is easily removed by warming up for...
