The GCU-2800 compression strapping press is equipped as standard with automatic top-edge protection applicators and bottom edge applicators to enable products to be compressed and strapped for storage and shipment to customers while providing optimum product protection and arrival condition at customers. The modular applicators seek and sense the pallet and the load and apply the protective strips before strapping. The applicator units are fully electrically powered, the integrated magazines can accommodate up to 150 pieces each and depending upon customer needs can apply the corrugated strips of 300 x 800 mm or 250 x 600 mm x 6 mm to the loads.
