Prolongea contact to water should be avoided: a reaction could occur at the eut edges, which will resuit in the removal of the epoxy coating from the film. In extrusion, it is recommen-ded to avoid unnecessary sheer forces on the glitter. Processing tempratures above 220 °C could be critical. We, however recommend our SiLiglit Aluminium Epoxy HEAT RESISTANT" for processing temp鄩ratures of 220 °C to a maximum of 250 °C. SiLiglit Aluminium Glitter without epoxy should not be used in aqueous solutions for an extended pri od of time. Long termed and direct exposures to the atmosph魨re without protection can lead to oxidation. Darkening of the colour coating is a frquent consquence. Our SiLiglit Aluminium Glitters are produced in two diff驩rent types; the high quality sries SiLiglit Aluminium Glitter Epoxy with epoxy coating and our SiLiglit Aluminium Glitter Uncoated.
