Introduction
SIEPEL HERMES 10 is an advanced anechoic chamber designed for full compliance radiated Electromagnetic Susceptibility (EMS) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) measurements. It supports testing at 3 m and 10 m distances, respectively, adhering to international standards.
Main Features
The chamber operates over a broadband frequency range from 26 MHz to 40 GHz. It is compliant with standards such as CISPR 16-1-4 Ed2, EN 50147-2, ANSI C63.4, EN 55022, and EN/IEC 61000-4-3. The design includes cost-effective absorbers and offers customization options.
Basic Configuration
The chamber features a shielded room with dimensions of 18030 x 12160 x 8440 mm, a structural steel frame, a shielded door, a raised floor, air vents, feedthrough panels, and power filters. It includes ferrite tiles and HYFRAL HY45 absorbers for optimal performance.
Options
Customization options include different door types, electric or pneumatic door assistance, additional power and data filters, video monitoring systems, and more.
Radiated EMI Testing
The chamber supports EMI testing from 30 MHz to 18 GHz, with a test volume diameter of 3 meters and height of 2 meters. It ensures a maximum deviation of ±4 dB from NSA values and a Site VSWR of ≤ 6 dB.
Radiated EMS Testing
EMS testing is compliant with EN/IEC 61000-4-3, covering 26 MHz to 18 GHz. It uses 16 electromagnetic pyramidal absorbers and supports field uniformity of +0 to +6 dB for 75% of measured points.
Shielding Effectiveness
The chamber features modular "sandwich type" shielded panels, offering high attenuation and flexibility for future modifications. It ensures easy dismantling and re-installation without performance loss.
Absorbers
HYFRAL HY45 hybrid absorbers provide high performance, durability, and fire retardant properties. They are designed for excellent power handling and are available in various coatings and colors.
