SHL SWIVELLING SINGLE OR DOUBLE POLISHING MACHINE TYPE EP 1000 / DP 1000 ROB with DPE-G The SHL swivelling single or double polishing machine type EP 1000 ROB or DP 1000 ROB (stationary or swivelling) is designed for use in robot polishing plants. All the electronic elements required for the machine are inside a switching cabinet. From there, the machine is connected to the robot via a PROFINET system to create a functional unit. The machining unit, located on a machine plinth, can be swivelled steplessly to the left and right from its central position. With the EP 1000 ROB, the polishing machine is equipped with a single spindle (layout left or right) to accommodate one single polishing disk. With the DP 1000 ROB, the polishing machine is equipped with a double polishing spindle or two single spindles to accommodate two sets of polishing disks. The robot program readjusts automatically if the disk is worn out, while the spindle speed is increased to compensate for the polishing speed.
