The MILVENT® MIV-25ALEX is designed for battery pack applications, particularly in large electric vehicle (EV) battery packs. It ensures high airflow, equalizes pressure, and reduces condensation by allowing air to flow freely in and out of sealed enclosures.

Specifications:
  • Material: Aluminum (AL) with UL94V0 grade for flame resistance.
  • IP Protection Grades: IP67, IP68, IP69K.
  • Operating Temperature Range: -40°C to +125°C.
  • Typical Airflow: 12 liters per minute at a pressure differential of 7 mbar.
  • Pop-up Pressure for Abnormal Status: 100-200 mbar.
  • Recommended Torque: 1 N.m.

Performance and Installation:
  • Can open and pop-up to release higher airflow when heated under abnormal conditions.
  • Effective for outdoor use when installed on the side or flat face of enclosures.
  • With two units, it can meet a venting hole size of 2000 mm² at 2 bar and vent all gases out in 3 seconds.

Environmental Performance:
  • Complies with IEC529, 2nd (Protection class): IP66, IP67, IP68 (Immersion: 2 meters for 60 minutes), IP69K.
  • Heat Resistance: IEC60068-2-1,2,14 standards (-40°C to +125°C).
  • Humidity Testing: IEC600-2-78 (85°C, 85% humidity for 1000 hours).
