The SQH Ceramic Resistor, specifically the SP series, is designed with a special glass coating on both inner and outer surfaces, enhancing thermal resistance and electric power capacity. This design offers superior stability against frequency changes and durability against transient voltage compared to conventional wire-wound resistors. Additionally, the SP series can operate in water, making it suitable for high-current and high-frequency circuit applications.

Applications
The resistors are used in various applications including power supply circuits, dummy loads, circuits for parasitic oscillation protection, PT protection, high-frequency circuits, accelerators, surge absorption, far-infrared heaters, microwave absorbers, and ultrasonic devices.

Applications and Ratings
The SP series resistors are available in different power ratings ranging from 3W to 500W, with resistance values from 0.33Ω to 680Ω. They can withstand a maximum operating impulse voltage of up to 20KV (1.2/50μs) and have an allowable energy injection capacity ranging from 11J to 19800J. The resistance tolerance is available in ±10% (K) and ±20% (M).

The resistors come in various dimensions depending on the power rating, with diameters ranging from 4.5mm to 50mm and lengths from 20mm to 450mm.

Performance
The resistors operate normally at temperatures up to 300°C, with a maximum operating temperature of 250°C. They have a temperature coefficient of ±0.15%/°C and can withstand a voltage of 0.5KV/cm. The rate of change of resistance when current is applied is ±10%, with a short-time overloading capacity of 70J/cm³.
