Overview: The BFS Series Multi-Bag Housings are designed for high flow industrial and commercial filter applications. They are constructed from 304L or 316L stainless steel for maximum durability and are available in models ranging from two to six rounds.

Design Features:

Clamp Closure: Available for 2BFS housings, offering quick and easy bag change-outs with a pressure rating of 150 PSI up to 250°F.
Swing Bolt Closure: Available for 2BFS through 6BFS, suitable for larger flow applications with a pressure rating of 150 PSI up to 300°F. Features include heavy-duty swing bolt closure and davit assembly, low profile for easy bag change-outs, and zinc-plated eye nuts and davit handle to prevent galling.
Optional 134 epoxy coating for seawater or corrosive applications.

Applications: Suitable for use in water, chemicals, food & beverage, electronics, oil, inks/paints/coatings, coolants, and pulp & paper industries.

Specifications & Operating Parameters:

Maximum Operating Pressure: 150 psig (10.3 bar) at 250°F for clamp closure and 300°F for swing bolt closure.
Connections: Inlet/Outlet options include 3" RF Flanges for 2BFS, 4" RF Flanges for 3BFS and 4BFS, and 6" RF Flanges for 5BFS and 6BFS. Optional RF Flanges or Sanitary Ferrules are available.
Materials of Construction: Head/Shell made from 304L or 316L stainless steel, with zinc-plated steel eye nuts and davit handle, and 304L stainless steel mounting legs.
Gaskets: Standard Buna N, with optional EPR, Silicone, Teflon Encapsulated Silicone, and Viton.
Baskets: Standard 1/8" perforated stainless steel, with various perforation and mesh sizes available.
Finish: Poly-coat on exterior surfaces, with optional 134 coating or electro-polish.
