Installation Instructions

Do not remove the protective cap until ready to install. Verify correct machining of the mounting hole and install with an aluminum gasket. Secure the electronics housing with the enclosed mounting bracket.
Ensure no metal or plastic remains; remove all transducers before cleaning the extruder. Remove the transducer only when the polymer is molten and clean the diaphragm with a soft cloth immediately after removal.
Bring the system to operating temperature and follow recommended procedures for zero and span adjustment with no pressure. Ensure sufficient soak time for any material at the transducer tip to be molten before starting the process.
The transducer tip can endure high temperatures, but the shell should be kept at room temperature to maintain accuracy and prolong the transducer's life.
Ensure the transducer operates within the rated pressure to avoid affecting accuracy and lifespan, despite its overload capability.
Use shielded cable and attach the cable shield to ground at one end only to prevent jamming.
