Cold Bend Testing Machine LWS Series │ LWS-160 - Features The Mandrel is interchangeable to meet requirements of specimens with varying diameters. Adjustable distance between rollers to accommodate specimens of varying diameters and shapes. Simple manual control to finish a testing procedure by pressing down corresponding buttons. The whole is cased to protect every single component from the dust, and the operator from any possible danger. A small bowl has been fitted under the beam, where the steel bar is bent. Introduction LWS-160 is specially designed to test bend-resistance performance of reinforced rolling steel bars, building steel reinforcements and steel pipes which completely meet the requirements of ASTM A615 A615M, ISO 7438 and other international and national specifications. Generally, the deformed and plain carbon steel bars for concrete reinforcement in cut lengths shall withstand being bent around a pin without cracking on the outside radius of the bent portion. Used for bending and straightening steel reinforcing bars. Two types of test can be performed depending upon size and quality of specimens: 1.
