Rain Gauge Rain Gauge The Rain Gauge is part of the SEVEN meteorological sensor range, which includes professional and intelligent measuring sensors with a digital interface for environmental and industrial applications such as PV plants, meteorology, agriculture, forestry and field monitoring. It is designed to accurately measure the rainfall with a collection area of 200 cm2 using the reed relay with the principle of tipping buckets. The measured rainfall data is transmitted to the data loggers and receiver units as pulse signals or via a 3-wire RS485 bus with Modbus RTU protocol, depending on the input requirements.
