Robustly built the universal stripping machine type FA-406 is designed for fast stripping of flexible and rigid cable ends - single core or multicore wires and cables up to 10 mm external diameter. Stripping length : 4 to 10 mm with short stop 8 to 36 mm with long stop The motor drives the stripping head with its 3 blades. Insert the wire to be stripped and press the handle which closes the blades while turning. The blades score the insulation and remove the slug when withdrawing the wire. Adjusting is easy and very precise - in 3 steps : - stripping diameter is obtained with a vernier which allows permanent adjusting of the blades. - The stripping length is determined by a graduated and adjusted scale with an external knurled button - Adjust the travel of the blades by a knurled button on the top of the machine. Closing of the blades can be operated manually or with a foot pedal or with a pneumatic system. Stripping length from 8 to 36 mm. - FA-406 Art.-No. 0553-0003 Special type with a short stripping and twisting head and a short stop position. Stripping length from 4 to 10 mm. - Stripping head with blades in tool steel : Note : For very hard or abrasive insulations we recommend using blades in tungsten carbide. (see optional accessories) - Wire guides Note : We recommend use of wire guides to centralise the wire for a clean and precise cut (see optional accessories). - Manual pedal system Note : Pneumatic pedal system available (see optional accessories)
