Decelerator

Decelerator

Decelerator

Product catalog summary
Introduction: The document discusses the challenges and solutions related to the vertical transfer of mixed products without segregation, provided by SERVOLIFT GmbH.
Problem Statement: During vertical transfer, mixed product components risk segregation due to factors like grain size, structure, specific density, movement, vibration, and air displacement. This segregation affects downstream processes such as tablet pressing and capsule filling.
Solution - Decelerator: The decelerator ensures controlled product flow using a silicone inlet and regulated compressed air, preventing segregation and adjusting speed. The FDA-compliant silicone hose is compressed initially, and pressure is gradually reduced to allow the product to slide down slowly. The inlet is easily replaceable after each transfer.
Key Features:
  • Controlled and gentle product flow.
  • Segregation and dust-free transfer.
  • No cross-contamination with replaceable inlet.
  • Optional dust-free transfer to High Containment Level.
  • Interfaces are dismountable and cleanable, adhering to GMP design.
Technical Specifications:
  • Control: Pneumatical / Electro-pneumatical.
  • Product Types: Powder, granulate, and tablets.
  • Rate of Fall: Regulated exhaust air.
  • Pressure: 0.1 / 0.15 bar between tubular foil and down pipe.
  • Feeding Example: Tablet press.
Advantages: The decelerator offers a reliable solution for maintaining product integrity during vertical transfer, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Decelerator-1

vertical product transfer without segregation Your specialist for complete handling-, blendingand cleaning technologies The problem: During the vertical transfer of a mixed product into a target container, there is a risk to segregate the product components due to the dropping height. Depending on grain size, structure or specific density, movement, vibration and air displacement generally lead to a separation of the particles inside the batch. This means that a product, which has to be transferred free-falling to a downstream process, (for example tablet press, capsule filling) is segregated.

Decelerator-2

The solution: During the vertical product transfer with the decelerator, there is a controlled product flow, arising in a silicone inlet through regulated compressed air. In this process the product is transferred without segregation and adjusted speed. At the beginning this FDA compliant silicone hose is compressed and through slowly lowering of the pressure between the outer tube and the inlet, the product is able to slide down slowly. The silicone inlet can be changed easily after each transfer process. Controlled and gentle product flow Segregation and dust free product transfer No cross...
