Product Overview: VACUFLECT® 500 is a patented glass fabric with aluminum, treated with alkyl silicon resin on both sides and an additional black silicon coating on the reverse side. The reverse side is laminated to a 3.0 mm felt made of PSA fibers. It is designed for continuous use at temperatures up to 270°C.

  • Weight: 1080 g/m² ±15% (DIN EN 12127B)
  • Thickness: 3.0 mm ±15% (DIN EN ISO 5084)
  • Weave: 3/1-broken twill
  • Warp Strength: > 570 N/cm (DIN EN 13934-1)
  • Weft Strength: > 430 N/cm (DIN EN 13934-1)
  • Temperature Range: -50°C to +550°C for long duration, up to +650°C for short duration
  • Max Operational Temperature: +270°C for 1000 hours, +300°C for 24 hours on the aluminum side
  • Fire Behavior: Self-extinguishing (DIN EN ISO 6941)
Additional Information:
  • Note that tear strength is reduced at upper temperature levels.
  • Available diameters range from 12 mm to 100 mm.
  • Customized tracks and pieces are available on request.
