THERMAL PROTECTION (2) Hiprosiltape consists of specially compounded silicone rubber, which adheres only to itself. It is used to seal the ends of Hiprojacket and Hiprotape or cables to prevent oil or water from wicking into the glass fibre and destroying HIPROSILTAPE be used to repair or join sections of Hiprojacket, or to provide a moisture proof seal over irregular insulated shapes. Less expensive and more effective than clamps or liquid sealants. Temperature range - 60° C up to + 1640° C ( max 30 S).
