General Features
The Scrap Cleaning Plant by SERAM is designed for use in scrap yards, steel mills, and foundries to clean metallic waste. It features a robust vibrating table with a customizable screen for separating fines from 0 to 30 mm, followed by an electromagnetic drum for ferrous material separation. The plant has a throughput capacity of 30 to 120 tph and a util width of 1.4m to 2.0m. The diameter of the electromagnetic drum ranges from Ø1.2m to Ø1.5mm, and the installation is stationary.

Optional Features
Optional conveyors can be added to collect fines/dust or non-ferrous materials. A robust conveyor can be installed at the output of the electromagnetic drum to optimize storage. Additional equipment includes a rubber belt for evacuating fines/dust and a heavy conveyor for scrap evacuation.

System Functions
The system has two main functions: soil/fine separation at the screen level and separation of non-ferrous metals using the electromagnetic drum. The vibrating table is equipped with a 1500 mm long screen with openings of 6mm and 26mm. The electromagnetic drum has an adjustable gap of 0 to 350mm between the drum and the screen.
