Product catalog summary
Specifications
Flow rates are detailed in the selection table. The flow medium should be clean liquids without particles, with recommended filtration between 20 to 40 microns. The pressure rating is 25 bar, and the connection is G 3/8”. The temperature range is from -20 to 100ºC. The accuracy is typically 1.5% within a 10 to 100% range, and repeatability is 0.2%. The maximum viscosity is 15 cSt. Dimensions and pressure drop details are available in the selection table and drawing. The weight is 15 grams. The housing is made of Grilamid TR55(PA12), with an optional brass version. The turbine is made of Grilamid PA12 Ferrit, and the bearings are PTFE/Graphite. Electrical connection options include a standard connector EN60529, Faston 2.8/6.3 mm, or a 1 m cable 3 x AWG 24. The power supply ranges from 5 to 24 Vdc, with a power consumption of approximately 8 mA. The output signal is PNO open connector, as per the table.
Product Overview
The LHF-08 turbine flow meter is designed for measuring small quantities of liquids. Key features include low cost, six different ranges, simple construction, small size and weight, high repeatability, a wide temperature range, and an operating pressure up to 25 bar.
Data Features Table
The table provides flow range, pulses per liter, frequency, DN, and air split for different models ranging from LHF-08-5 to LHF-08-35.
Application Range
The flow meter is suitable for agricultural and horticulture, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, oil and gas burner manufacturing, cooling systems, automotive technology, laboratories, and manufacturers of washing machines and dishwashers.
Measuring Principle
The flow causes the rotor to turn at an angular velocity proportional to the fluid velocity, generating a frequency signal as the blades pass beneath a magnetic pickup coil. Each pulse corresponds to a discrete volume of fluid, with the frequency pulse directly proportional to the rotor's angular velocity and flow rate. Advantages include high frequency and good resolution due to the large number of pulses, and a short response time due to the small mass of the turbine.
Installation and Maintenance
Ensure compatibility of the media with sensor material and proper filtration. Install the sensor in a clean pipeline and check electrical connections according to the wiring plan. Do not exceed specification limits. The device is maintenance-free if correctly installed, but cleaning may be necessary depending on the fluid media. It is a precision measuring system that must be installed by trained personnel. Frequency output is specific to each unit, and calibration is mandatory for accurate measurements.

Turbine flow meter Flow sensor LHF-08 are intended to measuring of small quantities of líquids. The most outstanding features are: -Low cost sensor -6 different ranges -Simple construction -Small dimensions and weight -High repeatability -Wide temperature range -Operating pressure up to 25 bar Application range Agricultural and horticulture Chemical, pharmaceutical Industry and dosage Manufacturing of oil and gas burners, flow heaters Manufacturing of cooling systems Automotive technology Laboratories Manufacturers of washing machines, dish washers, etc. SPECIFICATIONS Flow rates: See selection table Flow medium: Clean liquids without particles. Recommended filtration 20 to 40 microns Pressure rating: 25 bar Connection: G 3/8” Temperature range: -20 to 100ºC Accuracy: 1,5% rating typical (from 10 to 100% range) Repeatability: 0,2% typical Maxymum viscosity: 15 cSt Pressure drop: See selection table Dimmensions: See drawing Measuring principle Flow causes the bladed rotor of the LFH to turn at an angular velocity directly proportional to the fluid velocity. As the blades pass beneath a magnètic pickup coil, a frecuency signal is generated. Each pulse is equivalent to a discrete volume of fluid. The frequency pulse is directly proportional to the rotor angula velocity and the flow rate. Advantages The large number of pulses gives a high frequency and good resolution. Also, as the mass of the turbine are very small the response time is very short. It is a very simple mechanical instrument who guarantees a long life in a good repeteability zone.
