The innovation of this sensor (with regards to traditional sensor) relies on its capacity to measure these inclinations in the presence of dynamic conditions (vibrations, parasitic constant accelerations, etc...) keeping excellent accuracy. This is made possible by the use of 3 gyrometers and 3 accelerometers coming from MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical System) technology, and a treatment by a Kalman filter algorithm. All inertial sensors information, roll and pitch angles, and the status (error or internal failure, overflow of inclination measurements limits) of the sensor are provided on a CAN bus, and a RS485 bus MODBUS RTU protocol. Further to that, roll and pitch angles are also provided on analogue format (0-5V voltage).
