The PIPETRANS / PIPECORD range is renowned forproviding an ideal solution for this type of handling.The PIPETRANS range consists of a specially-designed two-ply or multiply structure of woven fabrics (polyesterwarp/polyamide weft) with cutting of plies in thelongitudinal direction to enable overlaping of the edges of the tube.The PIPECORD range has a carcass consisting of: in warp: special high-elasticity cords alternately strandedright and left to counterbalance the twist of the tube Օ in wefts: special high-elasticity cords of a width designed to provide the appropriate transverse rigidity and enable the overlaping of the edges. It should be noted that the designof the weft is important as it must ensure the maintaining ofthe tubular shape of the belt in all cases of stress applied to it, particularly on curves, and must prevent the crushing of the belt. The tubular conveyor can be used to convey all types of products in bulk, from the finest to the coarsest, with a tube diameter two and a half times greater than the maximum grain size.The types of materials which can be conveyed by the tubularconveyor are extremely varied and currently include various sorts of materials of a powdery nature (cements, ash, fly ash, etc.) or otherwise (coal, coke, ore, limestone, gypsum,sludge, fertiliser, sugar, wood chips, etc.). > : Before using the product in new areas of application which are not coveredby the product information a Sempertrans engineer MUST be asked for advice.
