Product catalog summary
Magnetic Grids Overview
Magnetic grids are essential components in piping systems, hoppers, and channels for separating ferrous particles. They are constructed using AISI 304 stainless steel to ensure resistance to corrosion, wear, and mechanical stress. The grids are designed to minimize resistance to material flow, preventing particle accumulation. Neodymium magnets are used, with a maximum operating temperature of 90ºC. Options include removable magnet systems and housings for easy cleaning.
Key Characteristics
  • Manual cleaning execution
  • Neodymium permanent magnets, quality N52
  • Housing made of AISI 304 stainless steel, with an option for AISI 316 for corrosive environments
  • Magnetic bar diameter: 25 mm
  • Distance between bar centers: 50 mm
  • Surface treatment: sandblasted
Products are manufactured according to EHEDG standards for hygienic maintenance in food production systems.
Magnetic Field Strength
The magnetic field strength of the grids can reach up to 12500 Gauss.
Grid Models
  • Basic Model: Available in various sizes with different numbers of bars, designed for minimal resistance to material flow.
  • Grid with Extractor Sleeve: Designed for efficient magnetic separation with quick maintenance and high hygiene standards. The extractor sleeve allows for easy cleaning by sliding the bars outwards, releasing captured metal particles.
  • Grids in Housing: Bars are inside extractor sleeves and mounted in a casing attached to the transport system. Available in manual and semiautomatic cleaning versions, with options for multiple grid layers depending on contamination levels.
Cleaning Versions
  • Version A - Manual Cleaning: Grids with extractor sleeves are manually cleaned by removing the grates and bars from the housing.
  • Version B - Semiautomatic Cleaning: Bars and sleeves are removed using guides, allowing for easier cleaning outside the housing.
Both versions are designed to meet EHEDG standards for hygienic maintenance.

MAGNETIC SEPARATING SYSTEMS: RECTANGULAR GRIDS-1

Magnetic separating systems2.3 MAGNETIC GRIDS BASIC MODEL Magnetic grids are used in piping systems, hoppers, channels, etc. to separate the ferrous particles that circulate through these systems. To ensure a high degree of resistance to corrosion, wear and tear, and to high mechanical stress, the parts of the grates that are in contact with the flow of material are manufactured with AISI 304 stainless steel. The dimensions of the system are designed so that the resistance to the passage of material is minimal. In this way, the accumulation of particles across the flow is avoided. All grids are constructed with Neodymium magnets and the maximum operating temperature will be up to 90°C. There is also a version with a removable magnet system and another with a housing for complete and easy cleaning. • Execution: easy manual cleaning • Neodymium permanent magnets, quality N52 • Housing: AISI 304 stainless steel. Optionally they can be made with stainless steel AISI 316 (for salty and corrosive environments) • Diameter of the magnetic bars: 25 mm • The distance between the centers of the bars is 50 mm • Surface treatment: sandblasted A B C n° of Weight Code mm mm mm bars Kg A B C n° of Weight Code mm mm mm bars Kg Other dimensions under request. Product manufactured according to EHEDG standards, which guarantee the correct design and hygienic maintenance of food production systems.

MAGNETIC SEPARATING SYSTEMS: RECTANGULAR GRIDS-2

Magnetic separating systems2.3 MAGNETIC GRIDS MODEL: GRID WITH EXTRACTOR SLEEVE This model is designed to offer maximum efficiency in magnetic separation, guaranteeing quick maintenance and the highest hygiene standards. Quick and easy cleaning: The magnetic bars are housed within a stainless steel sleeve. By sliding the bars outwards, the captured metal particles are released from the magnetic field and fall out automatically. This extraction system drastically reduces loading time for maintenance and cleaning tasks compared to traditional methods. Superior hygiene and food/pharmaceutical safety:...

MAGNETIC SEPARATING SYSTEMS: RECTANGULAR GRIDS-3

Magnetic separating systems2.3 MAGNETIC GRIDSMODEL: GRIDS IN HOUSING In this version, the bars that make up the grid are also inside extractor sleeves, but in addition, the grid is mounted in a casing that is attached directly to the transport system. The casing can contain one, two or more layers of grids, depending on the need (amount of ferrous contamination contained in the material). • Housing: AISI 304 stainless steel Optionally AISI 316 for corrosive environments • Standard equipment with NW flanges. Optionally connection without flanges, with undrilled flanges, etc. • Surface treatment:...
