1/2" Disc Thermostats
The CA/OA Series (602S/Silver and 602K/Gold) thermostats feature automatic reset. The environmental temperature range is -40˚-350˚F (-40˚-177˚C). Electrical ratings for Silver Contacts (602S) include 125VAC, 15A, resistive, 100,000 cycles, and 250VAC, 8A, resistive, 100,000 cycles. Gold Contacts (602K) have ratings of 30VDC, 1A, resistive, 100,000 cycles, and 120VAC, 125VA (Pilot Duty), 1A.
Technical Specifications
Insulation resistance is ≥100mΩ with a 500VDC Megger, and circuit resistance is ≤50mΩ (initial value) for Silver Contacts and ≤10mΩ for Gold Contacts. Dielectric strength is 1,500VAC/1-min or 1,800VAC/1-sec for Silver Contacts and 1,200VAC/1-min for Gold Contacts. Certifications include UL, CSA, and RoHS.
Temperature Range and Tolerance
The temperature range and tolerance vary, with tighter tolerances available upon request. The temperature rate of change is 1˚F (.5˚C) per minute.

Contacts will close (CA Series) or open (OA Series) on temperature rise when the surface or ambient temperature increases to the snap point of the calibrated bi-metal disc. The entire switch is enclosed in a phenolic dust-free housing. The bi-metal disc is retained by a metal heat conducting sensing cap and are all single pole, single throw non-adjustable switches. To provide flexibility for customer specific applications, we offer a variety of terminal and mounting configurations.
