Product catalog summary
Overview
The document provides a detailed description of dosing pumps, specifically focusing on the product group D. These pumps are versatile and can be used across various industries for precise metering and dosing of fluids, including those with low to high viscosity, solids, and chemically aggressive media.
Specifications
  • Stator: Features an integral elastomeric seal preventing corrosion as the liquid does not contact the metal tube.
  • Suction Casing: Made of stainless steel, rotatable in 90-degree increments, and available with gauge or flushing connections.
  • Rotor: Constructed from wear-resistant and corrosion-proof materials.
  • Pressure Branch: Stainless steel with 1/2" connections.
  • Tie Rods and Screw Connections: Made of stainless steel.
  • Stator Adapter: Allows interchangeability with various rotor/stator sizes.
  • Plug-in Shaft Connection: Facilitates easy dismantling and replacement of parts.
  • Drive: Compatible with geared motors, variable speed drives, or hydraulic motors.
  • Shaft Seal: Options include single or double acting mechanical seals or gland packing.
  • Coupling Rod: Features hardened, wear-resistant components, grease lubricated and sealed with elastomer sleeves.
  • Lantern: Connects the pump and drive.
Range Overview
  • MD Range: Available with stainless steel or plastic housing, suitable for chemically aggressive media.
  • MDP Range: Features a patented, wear-resistant plastic rotating unit, ideal for hydrocarbon-containing media.
  • MDT Range: Includes a feed hopper with a cylindrical compression zone for media with low flowability.
  • MDF Range: Used as barrel pumps for draining barrels with low to high viscosity media.
  • MDTC Range: Similar to MDT but with a cylindrical/conical compression zone, certified to 3-A Sanitary Standard.
  • MDC Range: Equipped with hygienic fork joints for easy cleaning, also certified to 3-A Sanitary Standard.
Features and Benefits
  • Modular construction allows for simple interchangeability.
  • Low pulsation eliminates the need for pulsation dampeners.
  • High metering accuracy with a deviation of ±1%.
  • Constant flow independent of pressure, eliminating control valves.
  • Conveying capacity up to 1000 l/h and pressure up to 24 bar.
Applications
Dosing pumps are used in a wide range of industries including agriculture, automotive, ceramics, construction, brewing, chemical, coating, confectionery, dough processing, water treatment, dyeing, food processing, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, shipbuilding, sludge treatment, and more.

D – Dosing pumps The 6 ranges of dosing pumps can be used in virtually all industries for the metering and dosing of precise quantities. They are particularly good for low-pulsation conveying of low to high viscosity fluids, as well as media containing solids and those that are chemically aggressive. Stator adapter in stainless steel, enabling the use of all sizes of rotor/stator giving interchangeability with only one housing and drive unit. Rotor wear resistant and corrosion-proof materials. Tie rods and screw connections in stainless steel. Suction casing in stainless steel, 1" connection...

Plug-in shaft connection for easy dismantling of the pump and drive enabling quick replacement of the rotating parts and shaft seals. The plug-in shaft pin secures the shaft connection to the drive and the splash ring protects the bearing from contamination / gland leakage. Shaft seal single acting mechanical seal. Alternatively, a double acting mechanical seal or gland packing are available. Coupling rod with two pin joints with hardened and wear resistant components, easily assembled, grease lubricated and positively sealed with elastomer sleeves and two holding bands. Drive geared motors,...

Product group D.-5

Overview of ranges The pumps of the MDT range feature a feed hopper with a cylindrical compression zone. Conveying media with a low degree of intrinsic flowability or with none at all are fed to the conveying elements rotor and stator through the auger feed screw on the coupling rod. Optimum filling of the conveying chamber is achieved through the priming pressure generated in the compression zone. Range MDT The pumps of the MDC range are equipped with open hygienic fork joints that can be cleaned almost without leaving residues through CIP continuous cleaning. They meet highest demands on hygienic...
