SDCM vs other solutions The Secomea Cloud solution is designed for tight integration with the SiteManager, the Data Collection Module (SDCM), and the GateManager. The new Secomea Data Collection Protocol (SDCP) used between the SDCM and the Secomea Data Collection Cloud (SDCC), not only encrypts and compacts the data; it also ensures that SDCM configuration files are exchanged and kept in sync. In fact, the SDCM configuration can be edited directly on the SDCP in a user-friendly GUI. The Secomea GateManager plays an important role in initial semiautomated provisioning of configuration files and security certificates via its built-in bulk provisionining system. In 2018, the SDCM and GateManager will be extended with fully automated security certificate provisioning and maintenance, eliminating any copy -paste operations of certificates while also eliminating the security issues of manual handling of security certificates. The SDCM features a rawdata dashboard for presenting the samples data. Via a JSON API you can build your own custom dashboard for correlating the data and presenting the data as desired in e.g. a web browser. • Data aggregation rules are automatically kept in sync.
