Development Kit Overview
The COM Express™ Development Kit includes essential components for development, such as the CCOMe-C96 Carrier Board, GPIO Header adapter cable, serial adapter cables, and optional display kits (eDP or LVDS). Additional components include a certified High-Speed DP cable, DP-to-HDMI adapter, SATA cable, VGA cable, and a Front Panel module V995. Note that the module itself is not included and must be purchased separately.

Video Interfaces
The kit supports multiple video interfaces, including three DP++ connectors, a VGA connector, LVDS 24-bit Single/Dual Channel, and an eDP 4-lanes VESA connector. It also features backlight control and LCD selectable voltages, along with an LVDS External EDID flash socket.

Mass Storage and Networking
For mass storage, the kit provides four S-ATA connectors and a µSD Card slot. Networking capabilities include a GbEthernet RJ-45 connector.

USB and PCI-e
The kit includes four USB 3.1 Host ports and four USB 2.0 Host ports. It also features two PCI-e x4 slots and one PCI-e x16 slot.

Audio and Serial Ports
Audio features include an on-board HD Audio Codec (Realtek ALC888S) and a 5.1 Audio Jack with S/PDIF Optical interface. Serial ports include two RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 ports and two RS-232 ports.

Other Interfaces
Additional interfaces include GPI/GPO pin headers, SPI Flash Socket, Button/LEDs front panel header, FAN connector, I2C + SM Bus, I2C Flash Socket, SM Bus Smart Battery Connector, and 7-segment LCD displays for POST codes.

Power Supply and Operating Conditions
The kit requires an ATX 24 poles connector, auxiliary 12V connector, and a 12 VDC power in connector. It operates within a temperature range of 0°C to +60°C and has dimensions of 305x244mm.

The CCOMe-C96 Development Kit is a cross-platform kit compatible with both x86 and Arm COM Express™ Type 6 modules, designed for fast time-to-market. Schematics are publicly available.
