MAXIMIZING PERFORMANCE All SeaI/O modules have a default baud rate of 9600. If lower latencies are required, the baud rate can be changed via the Sealevel utility, MaxSSD, included in your SeaMAX installation. All modules, including expansion modules, must have the same baud rate or communications errors will occur. To change the baud rate, connect to a SeaI/O module using MaxSSD. All Seal/O modules include the same connectors and configuration options on the side of the unit: ARS-485 networks should have termination enabled on each end of the network.
