  • UV-Index: Measures UV-Index according to ISO 17166 CIE S 007/E (2000) – DIN 5050, with a linear sensor signal.
Step 3: Output Signal
  • 4-20mA Output: Suitable for data bus inclusion, adjustable offset and amplification.
  • 0-5V Output: Voltage output with adjustable offset and amplification.
  • Without pre-amp: Non-amplified, requires external amplifiers or laboratory equipment.
Step 4: Connector
  • 5-pin plug: Stainless steel plug with M12x1 thread, various cables available.
  • Fixed cable: Cable fixed with the probe, default length two meters, IP65 rated.
Nomenclature
The product number is derived from a combination of the selected probe housing, spectral characteristics, output signal, and connector type. An example is provided for clarity: a probe with wide angle characteristics, for UV-Index measurement, with 4-20mA output and fixed cable is denoted as UV_Cosine_UV-Index_AMP4-20mA_cable.
