T450GT BUILT FOR HIGH PRODUCTION GEOTHERMAL PROJECTS. The track mounted T450GT is the drilling contractor’s rig of choice for geothermal and water well applications where site conditions pose challenges to traditional truck mounted designs. It is compact, light weight and highly maneuverable. When combined with Schramm’s new patented GEOCASE™ Casing Rotator option, the driller can now place casing and drill pipe simultaneously without stopping to change equipment set up. The rotator itself is in a fixed position and acts as the table of the rig. The mast slides up and down to provide the feed for the rotator. A tilt–out top head is used for pipe handling with the rotator. A diverter system discharges cuttings into an onboard cyclone system. Once casing placement is completed, drilling can continue utilizing an onboard pipe carousel and other time proven features that are included with standard T450GT rigs.
