Die Attach System with ND 1 One of the ideal applications for the ND 1 table is in Die Attach equipment. Die Attach is one of the central steps in the manufacturing process of integrated circuits (IC's). In the first step, a wafer full of IC’s is sliced up with a diamond dicing saw. After sawing, the individual IC’s or «die» are picked off of the sawed wafer and placed onto a metal lead frame in the die attach operation.
