Product catalog summary
Overview
The DES InfinityLine is a modular system designed for PCB manufacturing, offering advanced features for developing, etching, and stripping processes. It aims to meet current and future industry requirements with enhanced etching uniformity and reduced utility consumption.

Developing
The system includes an optional automatic dosing of antifoam chemistry, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. Controlled dosing ensures an ideal developing process and reliable removal of non-exposed resists.

Etching
The etching process benefits from a fine line spray manifold and vacuum etching options, which improve etching performance and uniformity. The system features a differentially graded nozzle arrangement and precise control over spray patterns.

Stripping
Innovative filter technology cleans the stripping solution before reuse. Options include cyclone and drum filter systems, depending on resist types.

Machine Design and Features
  • PP white modules with squeegee rollers or air knives to minimize drag-in and drag-out.
  • Adjustable fine line flat spray nozzles with separate pressure controls for top and bottom sides.
  • Automatic dosing systems with digital density control and visualization options.
  • High-efficiency multiple cascade rinse technology to reduce contamination.
  • Quick-release filters and active carbon filters for specific solutions.

Process Description
The manufacturing process involves developing, etching, and stripping stages, each tailored for inner and outer PCB layers. The system ensures uniform etching rates and precise control over process parameters.

Intermittent Etching
This feature prevents the puddle effect and allows for selective spray pipe control, ensuring uniform etching patterns. The vacuum etching system enhances performance, especially for HDI PCBs.

Transport Systems
The system accommodates various PCB formats, including rigid, flexible, and ultra-flexible circuits, with adjustable disc roller shafts and rollers.

Benefits
  • Advanced vacuum etching for improved performance and results.
  • Higher etching factor with smaller circuit tolerances.
  • Innovative stripping filter technology.

DEVELOPING – ETCHING – STRIPPING Process Descripton In general, the processes for manufacturing inner and outer layers require different arrangements of module types. A typical inner layer line starts with a development process which usually removes the non-exposed resist. In the etching module the resulting bare copper is sprayed with an acid etching solution and etched down to the base material. In the last step the resist is stripped off by using an alkaline stripping solution and subsequently filtered out of the chemistry. Intermittent etching with selective spray pipe control In a typical...

Expect Solutions Vacuum etching system for particularly fine structuresTransport systems for all PCB formats Intermittent etching with selective nozzle control Thanks to the vacuum etching system with the suction bars and the powerful suction blower the well-known puddle effect on the top side of the panel during the etching process could be extremely minimized. In addition, by the faster exchange of the etchant on the panel surface the standard distribution will increase and the etching factor will rise. Together with a differently graded nozzle arrangement, the complete system will provide...
