Interlocking unit The interlocking unit is installed on the safety guard; the actuator unit directly on the moveable guard door. To lock the actuator unit, the armature plate must be on the pole shoes of the currentcarrying magnet. Serial diagnostic gateways The SD Gateways for the different field bus systems convert the serial diagnostic signal of the sensors and solenoid interlocks into the desired field bus protocol. Every connected safety sensor/solenoid interlock loads status signals, warning or failure messages to the linked PLC.
