Overview
The MotorAnalyzer is a universal tester designed for electric motors and winding materials. It features ten test methods and offers both manual and automatic testing capabilities. The device is compact, lightweight, and suitable for on-site service, even in challenging installation positions.
Key Features- Ten test methods for comprehensive motor analysis.
- Fully-automatic quality assessment with automatic switch-over between motor connection leads.
- Operates on mains and/or battery power, making it portable and user-friendly.
- Integrated result storage with RS232 interface for data transmission.
- Compatible with Windows® software PrintCom for storing and printing test results.
Testing Capabilities- Surge and Resistance Tests: The MotorAnalyzer performs these tests automatically to evaluate motor quality. It uses a patented automatic surge-voltage comparison for precise winding symmetry analysis.
- High-Voltage Test: Generates a stable test voltage of 50...4000V (up to 5000V for MotorAnalyzer II) DC for insulation-resistance and polarization-index tests.
- Induction Test Probe: Locates turn-to-turn faults in stators or armatures and detects rotor faults in squirrel-cage rotors.
- Graphical Indication: Assists in adjusting the "neutral zone" in DC motors.
Additional Features- Temperature compensation for resistance tests, converting copper resistance to 20° Celsius.
- Flexible induction test probe for rotor winding detection.
- Measurement case suitable for hand luggage, enhancing portability.
Applications
The MotorAnalyzer is ideal for testing 3-phase motors, with connections for three winding connections and the motor frame. It is suitable for both on-site service and laboratory environments.
