  • Needle Roller/Axial Cylindrical Roller Bearings: Designed for high precision and rigidity, suitable for applications requiring high axial support and sealing.
  • Seal Carrier Assemblies and Precision Locknuts: Provide complete sealing solutions and are used for setting bearings to a defined axial preload.
Matrix for Preselection of Bearings
A matrix is included to assist in the rapid preselection of suitable bearings based on application requirements, categorizing them into standard, special, and high-accuracy applications.
Design and Safety Guidelines
Guidelines for designing bearing arrangements include considerations for basic rating life, static load safety factors, and permissible loads, along with mounting guidelines and lubrication requirements.
Technical Features
  • Multi-row Designs: Available in single, double, or triple row configurations for high dynamic operating conditions.
  • Load Carrying Capacity: Bearings with a 60° contact angle support high axial forces, with designs allowing for direct screw mounting.
Specifications and Load Capacities
Detailed specifications for various axial angular contact ball bearings, including series ZKLN, ZKLF, BSB, and others, with graphical representations showing load capacities in kilonewtons (kN).
Design and Construction Guidelines
Emphasizes the importance of using recommended minimum abutment diameters and ensuring proper radial support for bearing outer rings, along with limiting speeds and frictional considerations.
Lubrication and Maintenance
Recommendations for grease types and relubrication intervals, highlighting the importance of maintaining appropriate lubrication to prevent overheating and ensure longevity.
Mounting and Preloading Instructions
Guidelines stress the need for proper application of mounting forces and the use of INA precision locknuts, with specific instructions for fitting angular contact ball bearing units.
Additional Considerations
Includes cautionary notes on the use of alternative locknuts and the importance of adhering to specified tightening torques.
Seal Carrier Assemblies and Precision Locknuts
Details on seal carrier assemblies designed for screw mounting and precision locknuts used to support high axial forces, with guidelines for installation and maintenance.
Key Recommendations
  • Ensure precision machining of shaft threads for optimal performance.
  • Follow specified tightening torques and procedures to prevent damage and ensure reliability.
  • Use recommended tools and adapters for fitting and dismantling to maintain component integrity.

With their forward-looking bearing arrangement solutions for feed spindles, main spindles, rotary tables and linear guidance units, INA and FAG have been at the forefront of the world market for decades. The bearing components alone, however, are often no longer the decisive factor for these machine subsystems. Our customers have of course benefitted directly from significant performance improvements and unique selling propositions thanks to our ready-to-fitӔ products; these compact, ready-to-fit bearings are used in accordance with the simple principle: unpack, screw mount, use. In order to optimise...

Screw drive bearing arrangements are subjected to requirements that often cannot be optimally fulfilled by the design construction of conventional bearings. In order to design bearing arrangements for the highly dynamic operating conditions in screw drives that have high accuracy, high load carrying capacity, high rigidity, low friction, are easy to fit and maintenance-free or low-maintenance, INA/FAG has a wide range of axial angular contact ball bearings. With this well thought-out product range, ideal application-specific solutions can now be found to all the technical and economic demands...
