Data Sheet SCAT Active Carbon THE System for Solvent Safety SCAT active carbon is a steam activated, cylindrical shaped active carbon, based on mineral coal with excellent hardness and mechanical abrasion resistance. It offers a particular pore structure and can be regenerated with steam or hot gas. The active carbon is used for solvent recovery and separation of organic chemicals in the process of waste air purification.
