Product catalog summary
Overview: The document provides detailed technical specifications and features of SCANLAB's hurrySCAN® series, which includes hurrySCAN® III, hurrySCAN® II, and hurrySCAN®. These scan heads are designed for industrial laser materials processing, offering compatibility and high performance across various applications.
Specifications: The scan heads come with apertures ranging from 7 to 30 mm, ensuring high long-term stability and low drift values through integrated temperature stabilization. They support marking speeds exceeding 1000 characters per second and can handle laser power up to the multi-kilowatt range.
Design and Flexibility: The housing design and manufacturing tolerances provide flexibility and ease of adaptation to customer requirements. The hurrySCAN® III series utilizes dynAXIS® 3 galvanometer scanners for enhanced dynamic performance and linearity.
Applications: Typical applications include materials processing, marking, microstructuring, rapid manufacturing, 3D applications, and processing-on-the-fly.
Optics and Control: The scan heads are equipped with optimized scan mirrors and objectives for various laser types. They feature analog or digital interfaces for easy control via SCANLAB’s RTC® control boards, with optional optical fiber data interfaces.
Cooling and Mounting: The hurrySCAN® 20, 25, and 30 models offer water and air cooling options to maintain stable operating conditions. They also provide threaded and non-threaded holes for mounting and attaching additional components.
Quality Assurance: SCANLAB ensures high quality through extensive experience in scanner development and mandatory SCANcheck burn-in tests before shipment.
Type-Dependent Specifications: Detailed specifications are provided for different models, including aperture sizes, tracking errors, step response times, marking and positioning speeds, writing quality, long-term drift, and optical performance.
Common Specifications: All models feature high repeatability, positioning resolution, and specific power requirements. They also have defined air and water cooling requirements to ensure optimal performance.

® ® hurrySCAN   III 10, 14 + hurrySCAN   II 7, 10, 14 To optimally utilize standard objectives, ® the hurrySCAN  25’s two scan axes have differing maximum scan angles. This results in an elliptical image field with the larger semi-axis perpendicular to the entrance beam axis. All scan heads of these series are equipped with either analog or digital standard interfaces and are easily controlled via SCANLAB’s RTC® control boards. All scan heads are optionally available with an optical fiber data interface. Denoted dimensions refer to the standard housing type with 10 mm aperture. Variations in...
