Description

The Scancon eCODE 2048 Series are optical absolute multiturn encoders that communicate over a standard RS485 serial interface, requiring only four wires for power and communication. These encoders are semi-absolute, needing calibration after each power-up, but function identically to true absolute encoders post-calibration. They feature a precision interpolating optical system for high resolution and accuracy, processed by a microprocessor for timely data accuracy.
