SCAMATIC Self-cleaning filters

Product catalog summary
Application Areas: The SCAMATIC self-cleaning filters are designed for filtering cutting fluids, fuel circuits, and hydraulic control circuits. These products are manufactured in France.
Product Benefits: The filters offer the ability to handle a wide variety of products with a continuous, uninterrupted self-cleaning system. They feature intense sectoral backwash cleaning, interchangeable filter elements, low maintenance and operation costs, low pressure drop, no need for external energy supply for cleaning, and minimal overall dimensions.
Operating Conditions: The filters can handle viscosities up to 300 cSt, micron ratings from 10 to 300 µ, flow rates up to 500 m3/hr, temperatures up to 50°C, and pressures from 2 to 40 bar. Special executions are available upon request to meet specific conditions. The filters comply with CODAP or ASME standards, in accordance with the European Directive 97/23/CE.
Operating Principle: The filter element consists of a cartridge covered with a wire mesh corset. Cleaning is performed four times per minute through backwash flushing, driven by fluid pressure via a hydraulic motor. Impurities are directed to the bottom of the filter and removed through regular draining with a manual or automatic valve.
Configuration: The filters can be configured with single or multiple filter elements and can operate on both suction and discharge. They are available with bodies made of cast aluminum, carbon steel, or stainless steel, and feature a stainless steel filter corset.
