Travabon® Classic Specialist Skin Protection Cream PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Specialist pre-work cream to protect against heavy exposure to oilbased substances and facilitate skin cleansing. WHERE TO USE Work places where hands and arms are in contact with water-insoluble substances such as solvents, metal-working oils and mechanical soiling; where it is not practical or feasible to wear gloves. NB: Where possible skin exposure to potentially harmful substances and environments should be avoided through the implementation of safe working practices and the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. Where skin exposure cannot be avoided, it is recommended to use an appropriate skin protection cream as part of a complete skin care programme to reduce the risk of occupational skin disease. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Before Working: •• Apply 1ml to clean and dry skin before starting each work period and after washing hands •• Rub on all areas of the hands, including between the fingers and around the fingernails After Working: •• Prior to cleaning, apply a small amount of water to hands and rub together to loosen soiling then rinse with running water •• This action will remove most of the soiling from the hands enabling the use of only a light cleanser to remove any remaining soiling FORMAT: CREAM Unique dual action formulation Protects the skin from oil based workplace substances and facilitates effective skin cleansing. High mineral content Forms a robust, highly resistant physical protective layer on the skin, which prevents contaminants from penetrating deeply into the skin. Contains Algin A natural film building hydrocolloid which helps strengthen and reinforce the protective layer on the skin for greater durability. Contains a special soil-suspending emulsifier Blend of surfactants incorporated into the protective layer are activated by pre rinsing hands with just clean water, enabling the removal of most soiling. This allows use of a light hand cleanser only to remove any remaining soiling. Reduces irritation Scientifically proven to provide protection against the irritating effects of oil/solvent based substances. Contains Glycerin Enhances the water holding capacity of the skin’s upper layers, supporting the skin’s own moisture system and natural barrier function. Formulated to maintain the skin’s acid mantle; a layer on the surface of the skin which acts to help support the natural bacteria balance. The product will have no adverse effect if in contact with surfaces prior to the application of paint or surface coatings.
