2% Chlorhexidine foam hand wash PRODUCT DESCRIPTION A dye and perfume free antiseptic hand wash for use when a Chlorhexidine Gluconate product is desired for aseptic or clinical hand wash. WHERE TO USE Aseptic/clinical hand hygiene is undertaken to remove transient micro-organisms and inhibit the growth of resident microorganisms prior to any care activity that employs a direct or indirect contact with a mucous membrane, non-intact skin or an invasive medical device. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE For antiseptic handwash, apply 3mL of product (2 shots) to wet hands. Wash for 60 seconds, rinse thoroughly and dry. SHELF LIFE This product has a shelf life of at least 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored unopened at room temperature.Wash for 60 seconds, rinse thoroughly and dry. Product has a good residual effectiveness against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Complies with the EN1499 standard requirements for a hygienic hand wash. Reduces the potential for allergic reaction and skin irritation. Will not stain. Quick Rinsing Foam rinses off hands quickly and easily to leave no residues in sinks. Maintaining skin integrity Contains humectants and moisturiser to leave the skin feeling smooth and conditioned. Dermal patch tested to be non-irritating to the skin Fast Acting Deb Foam Technology™ produces a low surface tension that enables the instant foam lather to be spread easily across all parts of the hands to start working quickly. Hygienic cartridge The cartridges are ultrasonically sealed during the manufacturing process to protect the product. The pump is designed to prevent air ingress into the cartridge during normal use, thus minimising the risk of external contamination and maximising product evacuation with no unused product left. Dispenser buttons are protected by BioCote® a silver-based antimicrobial agent that is incorporated during the manufacturing process and inhibits the growth of a broad spectrum of bacteria and moulds. BioCote® does not rub-off and is effective for the lifetime of the dispenser.
