SPIRAMATIC Fine Drum Screens VSA and VSA MBR

Product catalog summary
Overview: The SPIRAMATIC Fine Drum Screens VSA and VSA MBR are designed for waste water treatment, featuring a rotating drum screen, conveyor screw, and compaction zone. They efficiently wash, convey, and dewater screenings, removing organic matter and compacting solids for discharge.
Specifications: The drum screen can be constructed from steel bars or perforated sheets, with slot widths determined by bar spacing. The cylindrical drum can be installed in a channel or tank. Filter mesh sizes vary for MBR pre-treatment (1.0 to 3.0 mm) and other uses (0.5 to 6.0 mm). Channel widths range from 600 to 3,000 mm, with a 35-degree incline angle. Materials include 304 L / 316 L stainless steel for frames and spirals, with optional covers and accessories.
Benefits: Key features include a triple face seal for fine solids capture, an external spray bar for optimal cleaning, a self-cleaning screen basket, and a durable brush for thorough cleaning. The system is low-maintenance with self-lubricating components and low energy consumption.
Technical Features: The VSA MBR models have specific dimensions and performance metrics, including channel width, height, discharge height, and drive power. Peak flow rates vary by model and filter size, with detailed specifications provided for both MBR and non-MBR applications.
Performance Data: Tables provide detailed performance data for various models, including maximum admissible water levels and peak flow rates for different filter sizes. This data helps in selecting the appropriate model based on specific treatment needs.

SPIRAMATIC Fine Drum Screens VSA and VSA MBR-1

Waste Water Treatment SPIRAMATIC VSA Fine Drum Screens consist of a rotating drum screen, a conveyor screw, and a compaction zone. Depending on the application, the fine screen drum can be made up of a set of steel bars – in which case the distance between the bars determines the desired slot width – or of a perforated sheet filter. The cylindrically shaped drum can be placed inside a channel or in a fabricated tank. SPIRAMATIC VSA Fine Drum Screens wash, convey and dewater waste water screenings all in one unit. They are designed to wash out organic matter from screenings. Both screen basket and dewatering zone are self-cleaning. Rotating around its axis, the cylindrical filter conveys the screenings to a loading hopper placed in the centre. A set of spray nozzles washes the filter during operation. A screw, placed inside the conveying pipe, with its top in the discharge hopper, conveys the screenings towards the following treatment stages during which organic substances are washed out. Subsequently, solids are compacted and dewatered in the compacting and drainage area. Finally, solids are discharged through a discharge chute into a container or compactor. Triple face seal for maximum capture efficiency of fine solids; Spray bar installed on the outside of the screen basket, thus enabling optimum capture of small solids; Cleaning brush fitted on the screen maintains screen surface clean; Durable brush attached to the flighting on the auger trough sweeping even smallest solids into auger trough for removal; 33 Large, robust, self-lubricating bronze bushing (no lubrication pump or maintenance required); 33 Low energy consumption and limited maintenance. www.savi-water.com www.wamgroup.com Rights reserved to modify technical specifications.
