Product catalog summary
Climbing System PJ 250 Overview
The Perpetuum Jack 250Te is a jacking system composed of a jacking cylinder with a bottom plate, elements each 100 mm in height, and a steel base plate of 50 mm.
Operation Phases
  • Phase 1: The jack's minimal height is 393 mm, placed on a 50 mm load spreading plate. The cylinder is retracted, transferring the load via the top of the cylinder to the connection plates. Total length: 443 mm.
  • Phase 2: The cylinder is energized, extending its ram and lifting the jack by 100 mm. Maximum stroke: 150 mm.
  • Phase 3: Two new elements are manually placed and secured with bolts if necessary. The position is fixed by a pin and hole system.
  • Phase 4: The cylinder retracts, transferring the load to the new elements. A third element is placed under the cylinder. Total length: 543 mm.
  • Phase 5: The cylinder extends again, lifting the jack slightly more than 100 mm.
  • Phase 6: Two new elements are placed perpendicular to the previous layer. Total length: 643 mm.
  • Phase 7: The cylinder retracts, transferring the load to the new elements. A third element is placed under the cylinder.
  • Phase 8-9: The process repeats for further lifting. For lowering, the phases are reversed.
Working Security
Each cylinder is connected to a jacking pump via safety and counterbalance valves. The pump ensures equal extension speed for all cylinders, allowing simultaneous lifting or lowering. Manual control valves allow independent cylinder operation. Pressure relief valves are included for regulation.

CLIMBING SYSTEM PJ 250 Werking Fonctionnement Operation Betrieb • Phase 1: The minimal height of the jack is 393mm. The jack is placed on a load spreading plate with a thickness of 50mm. The cylinder is retracted, the load is transferred via the top of the cylinder to the 4 connection plates on the bottom of the PJ jack. The jacking cylinder don’t take any load at this instance. The total length is now: 443mm (50mm plate + 393mm jack) • Phase 2: The jacking cylinder is energised; thus extending its ram, pushing up the jack & transferring the load through the cylinder. The maximum jack stroke...

CLIMBING SYSTEM PJ 250 Werking Fonctionnement Operation Betrieb • Phase 5: The jacking cylinder is energised; thus extending its cylinder and pushing up the jack & transferring the load through the cylinder. In this phase the item being jacked up a little more than 100 mm. • Phase 6: Two new elements are placed perpendicular on the previous layer manually. The new elements on the second can be secured to the element below with 12 bolts in extreme conditions. The position of the newly placed elements to the jack and the previous layer is fixated by a pin and a hole on each element. The total length...

CLIMBING SYSTEM PJ 250 Werking Fonctionnement Operation Betrieb Working security: Each jacking cylinder is connected, via a safety valve, counterbalance valve (hose rupture protection) and hydraulic hoses, to a constant displacement jacking pump which can be either diesel or electrically driven. The pump discharges the same volume of oil to each jacking cylinder, irrespective of load, which ensures that each jacking cylinder extends at the same speed, regardless of pressure. Therefore, the item being jacked up will be lifted (or lowered if jacking down) simultaneously by all the jacking cylinders...
