User Interface for the Definition of ILM Policies and ILM Rules (Changed) The terms "retention duration" and "residence duration" have been introduced. Reason: An ILM rule contains time specifications without reference to a timeline. It defines the determination of the start time and the duration (such as the retention duration). Only the result of rule evaluation has a timeline. The system determines the start date for an ILM object based on the rule.
