This cam-actuated tool post is a specially designed roller gear cam mechanism incorporating extra-strong cam followers and a globoidal cam made of extra-strong special steel. The result is an extremely high-torque roller gear cam mechanism capable of faster indexing speeds and stable stopping power without the use of gear couplings.
