UCMSC50: Disassembly involves removing hexagon socket head bolts and safety plate, shifting the guide bar backward, and removing the cam slider from the cam holder. Assembly is the reverse process, ensuring cleanliness of sliding areas and matching stamped serial numbers on cam holder and slider. All bolts must be reassembled.
UCMSC65: Disassembly requires removing the safety plate, loosening the hexagon socket head bolt, removing the stopper plate, and pulling the cam slider rearward from the cam holder. Assembly follows the reverse order with similar precautions.
The UCMSC50 series includes multiple variants (e.g., 00, 05, 10, 15, 20, 25) with detailed dimensional data such as mount widths, hole sizes, cam angles, and travel distances. SC and WC options are available and can be combined to customize performance.
The cam units comprise components including cam holder, cam slider, lower plate, cam driver, guide bar, positive return follower, cam slide guide, spring block, safety plate, coil spring, stopper, dowel pin, coned disc spring, and various bolts. Aerial Cam Unit General Description of UCMSC( FOR PIERCE ■ UCMSC50 Structure and Assembly / Disassembly ■ UCMSC65 Structure and Assembly / Disassembly Cam Units 1) Remove hexagon socket head bolt (©) and remove safety plate (©). 2) Remove hexagon socket head bolt (©). 3) Shift guide bar (©) to the back then remove cam slider (©) from cam holder. •Assembly method of UCMSC50 1) Assemble components in the reverse order of disassembly. •Make sure that there is no foreign matter on the sliding area and assemble components. •The clearance between the guide bar/cam slider and the cam holder is controlled. Match the stamped serial number on the holder and slider before assembly. •When cam is disassembled and then reassembled, please do not forget to assemble all bolts provided. •Disassembly method of UCMSC65 1) Remove safety plate(©). 2) Loosen hexagon socket head bolt (©) and remove stopper plate (©). 3) Pull and remove cam slider (©) from cam holder (©) to the rear. •Assembly method of UCMSC65 1) Assemble components in the reverse order of disassembly. •Make sure that there is no foreign matter on the sliding area and assemble components. •The clearance between the guide bar/cam slider and the cam holder is controlled.
