Ultra High Density Open Pin Field Arrays SEARAY™ 0,80 mm Pitch Systems Samtec’s SEARAY™ 0,80 mm (.0315") pitch arrays provide an ultra high density solution with up to 50 percent board space savings compared to .050" (1,27 mm) pitch SEARAY™ interconnects. With up to 500 total Edge Rate® contacts, this system allows for maximum grounding and routing flexibility. Samtec’s Edge Rate® contact system increases cycle life and minimizes the effects of broadside coupling, which decreases crosstalk for superior signal integrity performance and impedance control. Open Pin Field Flexibility Single-Ended Up to 28+ Gbps These ultra high density arrays (SEAM8/SEAF8 Series) feature a choice of 7 mm or 10 mm stack height and high speed performance up to 28 Gbps. The socket is also available in right angle for micro backplane applications with optional guide posts for blind mating and greater system flexibility. Standard lead-free solder charge terminations simplify IR reflow termination and improve solder joint reliability. Additionally, the mating micro coax cable assembly (ESCA Series) supports PCIe® Gen 3 and SAS3 protocols.
