Datasheet. Features. The ExCam miniZoom is a zoom camera approved for hazardous areas (dust and gas) in accordance with the directive 94/9/EC (ATEX). The ExCam miniZoom is the world‘s smallest explosion-proof zoom camera of its class. Despite its compact dimensions, it has a 10x motorized zoom lens, allowing it to be optimally adapted to the specific angle and lighting situation. Thanks to the use of the VISCA® protocol for controlling the camera, it is suitable for both, simple video monitoring solutions as well as industrial image processing. This makes it unique within its performance class. By using the full-duplex-RS422 interface, the ExCam miniZoom is compatible with all video servers manufactured by AXIS.
